The 23rd annual SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees concluded on Sunday, cementing its reputation as one of South Africa’s premier family events. Over three days of perfect winter weather, the festival treated thousands of festivalgoers to world-class entertainment, immersive conservation experiences, and agricultural excellence.
Despite the current economic climate – marked by rising fuel prices and an escalating cost of living – festival organisers expressed strong satisfaction with this year’s turnout.

Anticipation is already building for next year. Planning is officially underway for the 24th SPAR Kirkwood Wildsfees, which is scheduled to take place from Friday, 25 June to Sunday, 27 June 2027.
